SPS does not currently offer tutoring services, though there are a few services provided by USC listed here.
Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic support program designed to improve the student's academic success and increase retention. The SI program targets traditionally difficult courses and provides regularly scheduled, peer-led study sessions. These sessions are available to all students enrolled in the class at no cost. This program is brought to you by the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Click here for more information.
USC Peer Tutoring
Learning Support Services are offered in a variety of formats, one of which is through peer tutoring. The Tutor Request System allows USC undergraduate students to request tutoring support for some of USC’s traditionally challenging coursework. Tutoring is offered for select courses, including Physics 135 a/b and Physics 152. Click here for more information or click here to request a tutor.
USC Math Center
If you want help with your math classes this is the place to come! The Teaching Assistants are there to help you with your math assignments. Click on consulting hours to find out who is available when. Notice that the Teaching Assistants are listed according to which mathematics class they are assisting, and classes that cover similar material are grouped together. As a first choice, try to get help from a Teaching Assistant who is assisting a class that is grouped with your class. But failing that, another TA may be able to help you.
